I see all these photographs as portraits, compelling the viewer to focus on a single building, hoping to foster a sense of intimacy and appreciation. I focus my attention on them in tribute to the trials they have weathered and what they have accomplished – or what they have yet to achieve.

REIMAGINED, 2009
While traveling in The Archipiélago de Colón, Ecuador, or the Galápagos Islands in 2009, I was captivated by the primordial feel of the animals and landscapes that still exists today. As you walk through the islands, you feel as if you have stepped back in time.
